ENABLE AND DISABLE DEBUGGING LINUX

Its simple to enable and disable debug traces in linux command line. It is a matter of ‘+’ and ‘-‘ symbols

To enable debug mode use ‘set -x’

[oracle@exdbadm01 ~]$ set -x ls -lrt
++ printf '\033]0;%s@%s:%s\007' oracle exdbadm01 '~'

To disable the debug use ‘set +x’

[oracle@exdbadm01 ~]$ set +x
+ set +x
