INSTALL GRID INFRASTRUCTURE FOR 19C ON OEL

Invoke gridsetup script from grid home location

[oracle@dgprim01 grid]$ ./gridSetup.sh
Launching Oracle Grid Infrastructure Setup Wizard...

Choose the installation type.In my case i install oracle restart

Choose the ocr and voting diskgroup

In my case i cannot choose ASM filter driver due to OS compatibility failure

Specify admin password

Click next

Select asm relevant groups

Specify the path for oracle base location . Oracle software home is chosen automatically in 19c in installer. We cannot manually specify here

Click next

Run fixup scripts with root user to clear the warnings

Execution of fixup script

[root@dgprim01 grid]# /tmp/GridSetupActions2021-09-02_11-13-48PM/CVU_19.0.0.0.0_oracle/runfixup.sh
All Fix-up operations were completed successfully.
[root@dgprim01 grid]#

Proceed to next step by ignoring the memory and swap requirements

Installation start

Run the root.sh script

Execution of root.sh script as root user

[root@dgprim01 grid]# /app01/grid/root.sh
Performing root user operation.

The following environment variables are set as:
    ORACLE_OWNER= oracle
    ORACLE_HOME=  /app01/grid

Enter the full pathname of the local bin directory: [/usr/local/bin]:
The contents of "dbhome" have not changed. No need to overwrite.
The contents of "oraenv" have not changed. No need to overwrite.
The contents of "coraenv" have not changed. No need to overwrite.

Entries will be added to the /etc/oratab file as needed by
Database Configuration Assistant when a database is created
Finished running generic part of root script.
Now product-specific root actions will be performed.
Using configuration parameter file: /app01/grid/crs/install/crsconfig_params
The log of current session can be found at:
  /u01/base/crsdata/dgprim01/crsconfig/roothas_2021-09-02_11-57-50PM.log
