SSH CONNECTIVITY ROOT LOGIN PUTTY SOLARIS (CONNECTION REFUSED)

STEP 1:Check if sshd run on solaris machine. If you see nothing ,then go to step 2

svcs -p /network/ssh

STEP 2: Enable sshd using svcadm

svcadm enable /network/ssh

Check if PermitRootLogin is ‘yes’ in /etc/ssh/sshd_config

If PermitRootLogin is ‘no’ ,then modify the parameter to ‘yes’

Refresh the changes

svcadm refresh /network/ssh
